If you’re planning travel on Interstate 64, please be aware of construction at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Construction crews are working hard to address congestion and expand capacity. As you travel through the work zone, please obey posted speed limits, stay alert to new traffic patterns and drive distraction free.
With the increase of activity, motorists are encouraged to drive safely and drive informed through the HRBT Expansion Project. Motorists can expect additional traffic shifts, detours, and daytime and nighttime lane closures as crews perform construction activities.
